1 Scope This standard specifies the fatigue testing standard for helical springs under variable load. This standard is applicable to fatigue life verification and reliability evaluation of helical compression and tension springs (hereinafter referred to as springs), and it can be used as a reference for other spring products under variable load. 2 Normative references The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard.
