1 Scope This part of GB/T 17394 specifies the verification and calibration methods of Leeb hardness tester (hereinafter referred to as hardness tester) used for Leeb hardness test. This part is applicable to direct verification method for verification of basic functions of hardness tester and indirect verification method for comprehensive verification of hardness tester. GB/T 4340.1 Metallic Materials - Vickers Hardness Test - Part 1: Test Method (GB/T 4340.1-2009, ISO 6507-1:2005, MOD) 3 General Requirements Before verification of hardness tester, it shall be inspected so as to ensure: a) The hardness tester is operating normally within the specified operating voltage range; b) The impact device is operating reliably and flexibly without clamping phenomenon; c) Paper feed of the printer is normal, the print is legible, font pattern is complete with no deformation;
