ＧＢ／Ｔ１７５２９《工业丙烯酸及酯》分为５个部分,本部分为ＧＢ／Ｔ１７５２９的第１部分。本标准规定了工业用丙烯酸及酯的要求、试验方法和标志、包装、运输、贮存及安全等。本标准适用于由丙烯催化氧化法制得的丙烯酸的生产、检验和销售。本部分修改采用美国材料与试验协会标准ＡＳＴＭ Ｄ４４１６：２００４《丙烯酸》（英文版）。 本部分代替ＧＢ／Ｔ１７５２９．１—１９９８《工业丙烯酸》和ＧＢ／Ｔ１７５３０．１—１９９８《工业丙烯酸纯度的测定　气相色谱法》。
本部分与ＧＢ／Ｔ１７５２９．１—１９９８和ＧＢ／Ｔ１７５３０．１—１９９８相比，主要变化如下：
———增加了外观一章（见第４章）；
———将产品分为精丙烯酸型和丙烯酸型。精丙烯酸型产品为一个等级并增设了总醛项目和试验方法，丙烯酸型产品分为优等品和一等品两个等级（１９９８年版的第３章，本版的第５章和６．３）；
———丙烯酸型产品丙烯酸含量优等品指标由≥９９．０％修改为≥９９．２％，色度优等品指标由≤２０号（铂-钴色号）修改为≤１５号（１９９８年版的第３章，本版的第５章）；
———试验方法中丙烯酸含量的测定增加了毛细管柱气相色谱法，色度的测定增加了色差计法，水分的测定增加了气相色谱法（见６．３、６．４和６．５）。
