1 Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, specification, code, technical requirements and quality evaluation, test methods, inspection rules as well as packaging, transportation, storage and marking of synthetic filament spunbond and needlepunched nonwoven geotextiles.
This standard is applicable to synthetic filament spunbond and needlepunched nonwoven fabric made from polymers by spinning, lapping, and needlepunched reinforcement.

3.1 Product classification
Synthetic filament spunbond and needlepunched nonwoven geotextiles are classified into polyester, polypropylene, polyamide, polyethylene fiber and other synthetic filament spunbond and needlepunched nonwoven geotextiles according to the fiber types, and ordinary type and compound type according to structures.
