GB/T 18114.10-2010 Chemical analysis methods of rare earth concentrates - Part 10: Determination of water content - Gravimetry
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 18114 specifies the determination methods of water content in rare earth concentrates.
This part is applicable to the determination of water content in rare earth concentrates, with a determination range of 0.02–20.00%.
2 Principle
Weigh a certain quantity of rare earth concentrate test portion, dry it at 105–110°C for a specified period. Then measure the mass loss and calculate the water content.
3 Instruments and reagents
3.1 Oven: Capable of maintaining temperatures above 110°C.
3.2 Weighing bottle.
3.3 Balance: With a sensitivity of 0.0001 g.
4 Specimen
The rare earth concentrate specimen shall be stored in a sealed container.
