本标准规定了农业、林业拖拉机防护装置的静态试验方法和验收技术条件。本标准适用于至少有两根轴的配充气轮胎的轮式拖拉机或履带拖拉机,无配重拖拉机质量不小于800kg。后轮最小轮距应大于1150mm。本标准不适用于下列各类型的拖拉机：割草机、葡萄园用窄轮距拖拉机、用于顶部空间有限的建筑物或果园内的低轮廓拖拉机、高架式(高地隙)拖拉机和某些特殊的林业机械(如集材拖拉机)。
