本标准代替GB/T 19560-2004《煤的高压等温吸附试验方法　容量法》。
本标准规定了煤的容量法高压等温吸附试验方法。
本标准适用于烟煤和无烟煤对甲烷等气体吸附能力的测定。褐煤对甲烷等气体吸附能力的测定参考执行。
本标准与GB/T 19560-2004相比，主要修订内容有：
———标准名称改为《煤的高压等温吸附试验方法》；
———适用范围增加了褐煤；
———附录A中去掉了“空气干燥基”和“干燥无灰基”中“计算”一列，增加了“平衡水分基”的吸
附量。
