This part of GB/T 19608 specifies environment parameter and the severities of electromechanical products at plateau conditions. This part is applicable to electromechanical products used at plateau conditions with the altitude of 1000m~5000m. The environmental conditions specified in this part include the environmental parameters and severities from which the products suffer and by which the products are impacted; the items and severity will be appropriated to the products according to the environmental impact. This part is not applicable to products used in special conditions, such as having blast medium and mine in the plateau.
