本文件规定了低温保存箱的外观、容积、结构和材料性能、制冷性能、绝热性能和防凝露、噪声、安全及电磁兼容等技术要求，以及检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存，给出了便于技术规定的分类，描述了相应的试验方法。
本文件适用于采用封闭式电动机驱动压缩式制冷的低温保存箱(以下简称“低温箱”)。采用其他制冷方式的低温箱参照执行。
