本标准为首次发布。本标准规定了采用重力场中的沉降分析-吸液管法分析粒度的方法。本标准适用于吸液管法测量弥散在液体中的固体物质分布累计曲线（符合DIN 66141的规定），所使用的吸液管装置的沉降速度当量直径范围是1um~250um。本标准等同采用ＤＩＮ６６１１５：１９８３《粒度分析　重力场中沉降分析　吸液管法》（德文版）。
