GB/T 22091-2008《55°密封管螺纹量规》分为二个部分，本部分为GB/T 22091-2008的第1部分，修改采用ISO 7-2：2000《用螺纹密封的管螺纹 第2部分：用极限量规验收》（英文版）。 GB/T 22091的本部分规定了55°密封管螺纹量规的设计、尺寸和制造公差、检验、标记等。
本部分规定的量规体系1）适用于检验（GB/T 7306.1-2000规定的圆柱内螺纹和圆锥外螺纹）。 本部分与ISO 7-2：2000的差异如下：
——与GB/T 7306.1-2000对应，修改了标准名称；
——增加第4章，用表格形式阐述了量规名称和代号、功能、特征及使用规则（本版的第4章）；
——符号、量规设计、量规尺寸和制造公差、量规检验、量规标记的章节重新编排（ISO 7-2：2000的4、5、7.1、7.2、7.3；本版的第5章~第9章）；
——螺纹牙底、螺纹倒角的章节重新编排（ISO 7-2：2000的7.1.1.1a）和b),7.1.1.1第3段；本版的6.6、6.7）
——量规使用和螺纹的检验纳入附录A（ISO 7-2：2000的第6章；本版的附录A）。
