本标准代替GB/T 12007.1-1989《环氧树脂颜色测定方法 加德纳色度法》。
本标准规定了干性油、清漆、脂肪酸、聚合脂肪酸、树脂溶液等透明液体颜色的测量方法，通过与适宜的玻璃标准色号相比较，以进行颜色测定。
本标准与GB/T 12007.1-1989相比主要变化如下：
——更改了标准名称；
——增加了前言；
——颜色标准由原来的液体标准改为现在的玻璃标准；
