3.1
transient fault oscillograph equipment
A dedicated recording device used to record steady-state and transient processes in a power system.
NOTE: Also known as fault oscillograph equipment or fault recorder.
4 Technical Requirements
4.1 Environmental Conditions
4.1.1 Normal Service Atmospheric Conditions
The normal service atmospheric conditions are as follows:
a) Ambient temperature: -10°C to +55°C;
b) Atmospheric pressure: 80 kPa to 110 kPa;
c) Relative humidity: 5% to 95%.
4.1.2 Standard Test Atmospheric Conditions
The standard test atmospheric conditions are as follows:
a) Ambient temperature: +15°C to +35°C;
b) Atmospheric pressure: 86 kPa to 106 kPa;
c) Relative humidity: 45% to 75%.
4.1.3 Standard Test Atmospheric Conditions for Arbitration Tests
The standard test atmospheric conditions for arbitration tests are as follows:
a) Ambient temperature: +20°C ± 2°C;
b) Atmospheric pressure: 86 kPa to 106 kPa;
c) Relative humidity: 45% to 75%.
4.1.4 Other Requirements for the Service Environment
4.1.4.1 The service environment shall not have vibration exceeding the severity level 1 specified in GB/T 14537-1993.
4.1.4.2 The service environment shall be free from gases and conductive media that cause corrosion or damage to insulation. For environments with fire or explosion hazards, the equipment shall have explosion-proof measures.
