本标准规定了以下设备适用于电气绝缘系统（EIS）的热、电综合应力快速评定规程：
——供电电压1000V及以下（直流、交流、脉冲）的设备；
——使用绕线线圈模型：适用于变压器、扼流器、镇流器、电抗器、铁氧体逆变器等；
——正常情况下不经受振动的产品。
为测定热老化条件下的化学反应，模型应包含最终产品的所有组分。评定整个EIS的老化程序不允许修改。
