本标准规定了塔式起重机安装与拆卸的基本要求、基本架设高度的安装与拆卸、安装与拆卸前的准备、爬升、附着装置的安装与拆卸、内爬式塔机的安装与拆卸、安全保护装置的调试、安装后的调试与验收。
本标准适用于组装式上回转塔机,其他类型的塔机可参照执行。不适用于配备有塔式起重装置的汽车、轮胎和履带起重机。也不适用于自行架设式塔机。
