本标准规定了用溶剂萃取法、亲水天平法、椭圆偏振光法测定电镀锡板表面涂油量的试验原理、试剂、试验装置、试样、试验条件和步骤、试验结果的计算、试验报告等。本标准适用于测定电镀锡板表面的涂油量。对于电镀铬板（TFS）表面涂油量的测量也可参照本标准。溶剂萃取法作为仲裁法。
