本标准适用于至少有一台开关装置直接和一台或多台其他装置连接、或者与其共享元件以使得各分立元件之间的功能相互作用的紧凑型成套开关设备。此类成套设备由1.1.101中确定的装置组成并作为单个单元设计、试验以及提供使用。装置间相互靠近、共享元件或者这两种情况的组合都可能引起装置之间的相互作用。该成套设备可能仅包括空气绝缘开关设备(AIS)的元件或者AIS和气体绝缘开关设备(GIS)的组合。因此,称作混合技术的开关设备(MTS)并可以整体预装或部分组装进行运输。
