This document is applicable to providing guidance for relevant parties to carry out safety design activities for consumer products. 2 Normative references No normative references are listed in this document. 3 Terms and definitions For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply. 3.1 consumer product product designed and produced primarily for, but not limited to, personal use Note: It includes the components, parts, accessories, instructions for use, and packaging of product.
