GB/T 29493.3-2023 Determination of harmful substances in textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries - Part 3: Determination of organotins WARNING - Persons using this document shall be familiar with normal laboratory practice. This document does not purport to address all of the safety problems. It is the responsibility of the user to establish appropriate safety and health practices and to ensure compliance with any national regulatory conditions. 1 Scope This document describes a method for the determination of organotins in textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). This document is applicable to the determination of 18 kinds of organotins in textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries (see Annex A). 2 Normative references The following documents contain requirements which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies. Tetrahydrofuran (5.5) shall be dehydrated with anhydrous sodium sulfate (5.6) before use, and the whole preparation process shall be protected by inert gas (such as nitrogen and argon). Do not expose residual sodium tetraethylborate (5.7) to air. Derivatization reagents may also be prepared by purchased sodium tetraethylborate having a fixed weight.
