I3: 3 h rate discharge current (A), which is equal to 1/3 of the rated capacity. I1: 1 h rate discharge current (A), which is equal to the rated capacity. 5 Performance requirements 5.1 Appearance Battery cells shall be inspected according to 6.2.1, the appearance shall be free of deformation and cracks, the surface shall be dry and free of burrs, external damage and dirt, and there shall be clear and correct marks. 5.2 Polarity marking Battery cells are inspected in accordance with 6.2.2, and terminal polarity markings shall be correct and clear.
