本标准规定了化学需氧量(COD)测定仪的术语和定义、分类、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于检测生活污水、工业废水和地表水等水体中化学需氧量(COD)的测定仪,其检测原理或检测方法一般采用重铬酸钾氧化―氧化还原滴定法、重铬酸钾氧化―分光光度法和重铬酸钾氧化―库仑滴定法。其他原理或检测方法的化学需氧量(COD)测定仪(以下简称“仪器”)可参考本标准。
