本标准规定了无缝和焊接钢管(埋弧焊接钢管除外)的全圆周超声壁厚测量的检测要求、检测方法和校验程序。
注1:全圆周检测并非意味着钢管表面的100%扫查。
注2:测厚可与使用同一超声探头即能满足检测要求的全圆周分层检测(ISO10893-8)同时进行。在此情况下,根据ISO10893-8要求,钢管表面扫查的覆盖率由所需检出最小分层尺寸决定。
本标准也适用于圆形空心型材的检测。
本标准适用的测厚范围是公称外径大于或等于25.4mm,最小壁厚2.6mm,除非另有商定。
