本标准规定了施工升降机（以下简称“升降机”)用齿轮渐进式防坠安全器的术语和定义、技术要求、使用要求、试验方法、检验规则及标牌、标记、包装和贮存等。本标准适用于施工升降机用齿轮渐进式安全器（以下简称“安全器”)，其他设备使用的同类安全器亦可参照采用。本标准不适用于在本标准实施前生产的安全器。
