本标准规定了用爱泼斯坦方圈测量电工钢片（带）磁性能的交流测量的一般原理、比总损耗的测量方法、磁极化强度峰值、磁场强度峰值和比视在功率的测定方法、支流测量的一般原理、磁极化强度的支流测量方法、测量装置的校准和试验报告。本标准适用于晶粒无取向电工钢片（带）的直流磁性能测量及频率上限为400Hz的交流磁性测量。适用于从任何等级的电工钢片（带）上取得的试验试样。试样测量前应首先退磁，测量应在环境温度（23±5）℃，相对湿度小于80%下进行。更高频率下的测量应按照GB/T 10129进行。
