GB/T 3880.2-2024 Wrought aluminium and aluminium alloy plates, sheets and strips for general engineering - Part 2: Mechanical properties 1 Scope This document specifies the mechanical properties of wrought aluminium and aluminium alloy plates, sheets and strips for general engineering. This document is applicable to hot-rolled or cold-rolled wrought aluminium and aluminium alloy plates, sheets and strips for general engineering (hereinafter referred to as plates, sheets and strips). 2 Normative references There are no normative references in this document. 3 Terms and definitions No terms and definitions are listed in this document. 4 Mechanical properties The tensile mechanical properties at room temperature of plates, sheets and strips shall meet those specified in Table 1. The surface of specimen shall be free from crack after being subjected to bending test at the bending radius specified in Table 1. For plates, sheets and strips with mechanical properties not listed in the table, the mechanical properties shall be determined by the supplier and the purchaser through negotiation, and indicated in the order (or contract).
