This document defines terms and definitions related to the 3D process design of mechanical products.
This document applies to the application, development, service and research of 3D process design of mechanical products based on model definitions.

3 Basic terms
3.1
Three-dimensional process design threc-dimensional process planning
Based on the three-dimensional design model, the three-dimensional process information is constructed, expressed, stored and released in three dimensions, providing intuitive and directly usable three-dimensional data for manufacturing, inspection, service and other aspects of process activities.
Note: Three-dimensional process design is a process design method that uses a three-dimensional model as the process letter Fengxin body.

A variety of technical documents based on three-dimensional models, which can be interacted with and used to guide workers in their operations and for production and process management.

Note. This activity includes one or more assembly sequence planning, assembly path planning and simulation of the assembly process for purposes such as assembly interference checking and assembly process optimisation.
The purpose is to check assembly interference and optimise the assembly process.

The process of applying data from three-dimensional process design results in manufacturing, inspection and service.

4 Model terminology
4.1
Design model design model
The complete expression of product geometric information, labeling information and attributes of the three-dimensional model.
4.2 Process model
Process modelprocess model
A collection of 3D models that reflect the manufacturing process of a product or component by integrating process design information with a 3D model as the core. Note that process models generally include blank models and process models.

A three-dimensional model that expresses the material, shape, size and technical requirements of a blank.

in-process model
A three-dimensional model that can carry information about a specific process in the product process.

A three-dimensional model that expresses the process information of a specific step in the process.

A three-dimensional model describing the resources such as process equipment used in the design of a product process.
5 Inventory terms
5.1
bill of material; BOM
A list of the items and quantities of accessories, parts and materials used in the assembly of a component in the production process.

Engineering bill of material; EBOM
Contains the composition of the structure and parts according to the design requirements of the relationship, reflecting the properties of the product and the relationship between the design of the parts of the bill of materials.

Process bill of material; PBOM
Contains some of the attributes of the EBOM information, process components and parts process division route and other process information, reflecting the production delivery order of the bill of materials.

6 Data terminology
6.1
Design data design data
Data generated in the product design process, used to describe the characteristics of the post-production heart, functional characteristics and physical characteristics.
6.2
Process data
Data generated in the process of product design.

Process basic data
Data describing the type of process information called as basic elements in the process of process design.
Note: Common process basic data include processing method symbols, tool symbols, processing method symbols. Process parameter types, etc.
6.4
Process resource data
Data describing the various entities used to implement the manufacturing process in the factory.
Note: Common process resource data include plant, work centre. Equipment, jigs and fixtures, moulds, tools. Measurements and inspection tools, raw materials, auxiliary parts, auxiliary materials, etc.
6.5
Three-dimensional process design data
The process data generated by the three-dimensional process design.
Note. Three-dimensional process design data mainly contains three-dimensional process models, structured process procedures and three-dimensional process release data, etc.
6.6
Inspection data
The data generated in the inspection planning and design of a product based on the product design data and process data, which is used to guide the inspection and measurement process.
