本文件规定了采用基质辅助激光解吸电离飞行时间质谱（MALDI-TOF-MS）测定纺织品中动物毛纤维混合物组分的定性定量方法。
非动物毛纤维组分可参照GB/T 2910（所有部分）进行检测，再将所得结果结合起来确定整体纤维含量。
本方法参照FZ/T 01057.3，采用光学显微镜观察混合纤维的外观形态进行初步鉴定。本方法不适用于同物种的动物纤维同时存在的情况（例如山羊绒和马海毛的混合物），此类样品可通过镜检法分析定量（例如GB/T 40905.1和GB/T 40905.2所述的分析方法）。
