1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and labeling, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and purchase orders (or contracts) of copper and copper alloy cold-drawn rod and bar.
This standard applies to round, rectangular, square and hexagonal copper and copper alloy cold-drawn rod and bar for general use (hereinafter referred to as rod and bar).

The designation, code, state and specification of rod and bar shall meet those specified in Table 1. The width-height ratio of rectangular bars shall meet those specified in Table 2.
