3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
portable display devices of alarm information
Portable devices that access terminal devices for fire alarm and refuge escape via wireless communication technology, and send information such as fire alarms, gas leak alarms, equipment faults and emergency evacuation to personnel at the scene.
NOTE: Terminal devices include, but are not limited to, fire alarm control units, fire linkage control units, graphic display devices for fire control rooms, emergency lighting control units, combustible gas alarm control units and other such devices.
3.2
continuous positioning type display devices
Display devices that have personnel positioning capability and can send user location information to terminal devices throughout the entire area of the workplace.
3.3
anchor positioning type display devices
Display devices that have personnel positioning capability and can send information indicating the area where the user is located to terminal devices when the user is within a specified area of the workplace.
4 Classification
According to the positioning method used for the product‘s positioning function, display devices can be classified as:
a) Continuous positioning type;
b) Anchor positioning type.
5 Technical requirements
5.1 General requirements
5.1.1 The surface of the display device shall be free from corrosion, coating peeling and blistering, and shall have no obvious scratches, cracks, burrs or other mechanical damage. Fastening parts shall not be loose.
5.1.2 The mass of the display device should not be greater than 1 kg. The display device shall be equipped with accessories such as lanyards or wrist straps for easy carrying. The accessories shall be able to withstand a tensile force of not less than 20 N between the accessory and the device body.
5.1.3 The display device shall be powered by an internal battery and shall not have the function of supplying power to other equipment. Display devices using disposable replaceable batteries shall have a battery installation structure that prevents reverse polarity connection.
5.1.4 When the display device uses indicator lights to indicate its operating status and alarm information, the normal operating status indicator light shall be green, the fault alarm information and communication fault indicator light shall be yellow, and the fire alarm, combustible gas alarm information and emergency evacuation information indicator light shall be red.
5.1.5 When the display device uses a display screen to indicate its operating status and alarm information, the various types of information shall be displayed using text, symbols or a combination thereof.
5.1.6 Under ambient illumination conditions of 100 lx to 500 lx, the status of the indicator lights and the information on the display screen shall be clearly visible at a distance of 1 m within a 22.5° viewing angle directly in front of the device.
5.1.7 The display device shall have an audible and visual alarm function, and shall emit an alert tone when an alarm message is received. Under ambient sound pressure level (Aweighted) conditions not exceeding 50 dB, the peak sound pressure level (Aweighted) of the acoustic signal of the display device at a distance of 1 m directly in front of the device shall be not less than 60 dB and not greater than 105 dB. When the display device emits an acoustic signal, it shall simultaneously emit a vibration alert. The display device shall have a manual silencing function. When a manual silencing operation is performed, the vibration alert shall also stop simultaneously.
5.1.8 The display device shall have a manual selfcheck or poweron selfcheck function to check the functionality of its indicator lights, display screen and audible/visual components.
5.1.9 The display device shall have an internal timer or be capable of automatically adjusting the clock via a wireless communication network. The daily timing error of the internal timer shall not be greater than ±0.5 s, and the operation of the internal timer shall not be affected by the operating status of the display device.
5.1.10 The maximum communication distance between the display device and a terminal device should not be less than 1000 m, and the maximum communication distance between the display device and a relay device should not be less than 200 m.
5.1.11 When the display device has a positioning function, the positioning error for continuous positioning type display devices intended for outdoor use only should not be greater than 10 m, and for continuous positioning type display devices intended for indoor use, the positioning error should not be greater than 5 m; the positioning error for anchor positioning type display devices intended for outdoor use only should not be greater than 50 m, and for anchor positioning type display devices intended for indoor use, the positioning error should not be greater than 20 m.
5.1.12 When the display device has a remote measurement function, the maximum effective distance for the display device to complete the checkin function interaction with the remote measurement point should not be greater than 5 m.
5.1.13 The display device shall have complete packaging at the time of product delivery. The packaging shall contain a quality inspection certificate and a Chinese instruction manual.
