1  Scope

This standard specifies the determination method of vitamin B12 in health foods.

This standard is applicable to the determination of vitamin B12 in health foods like tablet, capsule, powder and functional beverage.

In this method, where the sample is treated through solid-phase extraction, the sampling quantity is 2.0g and the detection limit of the method is 1.0μ/g. Where the sample is treated through immunoaffinity method, the sampling quantity of tablet, capsule and powder is 2.0g, and the detection limit of the method is 0.05μg/g; the sampling quantity of functional beverage is 20mL and detection limit of the method is 3.0μ/L.
