1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packing, transport and storage of rigid mica materials for heating equipment.
This standard is applicable to hard mica plate made of mica paper as base material, and suitable adhesive by cohesion. Adhesive may ran off completely in application process and becomes a material than needs be supported, or reserved partially or completely as self-supported material; in such case adhesive must be able to withstand operation temperature.
