Mechanical and technological test
1 Scope
This standard specifies the tensile test, shear test, bend test, bond test, impact test, combine test and hardness test of clad steel plates.
This standard is applicable to the mechanical and technological tests of single side and both sides clad steel plates (hereinafter referred to as clad steel plates) manufactured by rolling, explosion, overlaying, diffusion, casting, explosion rolling, overlaying rolling, diffusion rolling and casting rolling with steel plates as the base metal and stainless steel or nonferrous metal and alloy as the cladding metal.
It may also be referenced by other metal clad plates.

For the purposes of this standard, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 10623 and the following apply.

clad
one metal is completely covered by another metal, and they are metallurgically bonded at the interface (except for the coated metal)
3.2
clad steel plate
clad plate using steel plate as the base metal
3.3
base metal
material, mainly bearing the structural strength, in the clad steel plate
3.4
cladding metal
cladding material in clad steel plate
