本标准于１９８７年７月首次发布，２００１年第一次修订。本标准代替ＧＢ／Ｔ８２９７—２００１《浓缩天然胶乳　氢氧化钾（ＫＯＨ）值的测定》。本标准规定了完全或部分用氨保存的浓缩天然胶乳的氢氧化钾（KOH）值测定方法。本标准适用于含硼酸的胶乳。本标准不适用于用氢氧化钾保存的胶乳，也不适用于巴西橡胶树胶乳以外的天然胶乳、配合胶乳、硫化胶乳和乳化胶乳。
