GB/T 9326《交流500kV及以下纸或聚丙烯复合纸绝缘金属套充油电缆及附件》由五个部分组成，本部分是GB/T 9326的第2部分。
本部分代替GB 9326.2-1988《交流330kV及以下油纸绝缘自容式充油电缆及附件 油纸绝缘自容式充油电缆》。
本部分适用于相间额定交流电压110kV-500kV中性点有效接地系统，供输配电能用的铜芯纸绝缘铅套单芯自容式充油电缆。
本部分与GB 9326.2-1988相比的技术差异是：
——增加了导体的大尺寸规格，取消了非标准规格；
——增加了500kV电压等级，电缆的绝缘厚度参照DL/T 5228-2005《水力发电厂交流110kV~500kV电力电缆工程设计规范》和我国锦辽线运行的电缆确定；
——绝缘纸技术要求改为按照QB/T 2692-2005《110kV~330kV高压电缆纸》；另对500kV电缆纸规定了介质损耗角正切（100℃，分干纸和油纸）；
——取消前版标准包含的所有试验内容；
——将铅套密封性例行试验改为工艺要求；
——增加了不锈钢带加层类型；
——增加了聚乙烯护套类型；
——增加了绝缘油的性能。
