GJB 3326A-2019 Specification for ultra-high strength steel bars of aerospace solid rocket motor
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for ultra-high strength steel bars of aerospace solid rocket motors.
This standard is applicable to 30Si2MnCrMoVE, 33Si2MnCrMoVREE and 30Cr3SiNiMoVA hot-rolled forged round steel and flat steel (hereinafter referred to as "steel bars") with nominal diameters or side lengths not exceeding 450mm.

3.1 Smelting method
3.1.1 30Si2MnCrMoVE shall be smelted by a combined process of vacuum induction + vacuum arc remelting.
3.1.2 33Si2MnCrMoVREE shall be smelted by a process of electric arc furnace + electroslag remelting.
