本标准规定了铜及铜合金焊接及钎焊技术施工中的材料、钎焊工艺评定、钎焊工考试、焊接与钎焊施工、焊接与钎接检验等要求。
本标准适用于化工、炼油装置铜制设备和管道施工中紫铜、黄铜的钨极惰性气体保护电弧焊；黄铜的氧乙炔焰焊；紫铜、黄铜的氧乙炔焰钎焊。不适用于铜制设备和管道施工中的紫铜和黄铜的碳弧焊、焊条电弧焊、埋弧焊和其他方法的钎焊。
