a) 类别
――Ⅰ类，外胶层不耐油;
――Ⅱ类，外胶层耐油.
b)型别
――1类，预定用于最大工作蒸汽压力为0.3MPa(3 bar),对应蒸汽温度为144℃；
――2类，预定用于最大工作蒸汽压力为0.6MPa(6 bar),对应蒸汽温度为165℃；
――3类，预定用于最大工作蒸汽压力为1.0MPa(10 bar),对应蒸汽温度为184℃；
――4类，预定用于最大工作蒸汽压力为1.6MPa(16 bar),对应蒸汽温度为204℃；
――5类，预定用于最大工作蒸汽压力为1.6MPa(16 bar),对应蒸汽温度为204℃；并持续使用。
本标准规定的软管不适宜和于食品加工或某些用途，如蒸汽烹煮，打桩机等。
