1 Scope This standard specifies the general technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transport and storage of the steel equipments lined with plastics. This standard is applicable to the chemical-corrosion-resistant equipments lined with plastics such as tower, kettle, vessel, tank and groove, which adopt different plastic linings including Ethyl Tetra Fluoro Ethylene (ETFE), Fluoro-Ethylene Polymer (FEP), Polyethylene (PE), Polyfluoroalkoxy (PFA), Polyolefins (PO), Polypropylene (PP), Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). 2 Normative References The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard.
