本标准规定了汽车塑料件用水性涂料产品的术语和定义、产品分类、要求、取样、试验方法、检验规则及标志、包装和贮存等内容。
本标准适用于在施工状态下挥发性有机化合物（VOC）含量（扣除水后）小于420g/L或涂装过程中挥发性有机化合物（VOC）排放量小于35g/m2的汽车用水性涂料，该产品主要用于汽车安全气囊系统饰盖组件、汽车内饰塑料件，汽车外饰塑料件等乘用车、商用车塑料件的装饰和保护。
本标准不适用于车灯、反光镜镜面
