本标准适用于低浓度颗粒物的测定，当测定结果大于50 mg/m3时，表述为“>50 mg/m3”。
当标准状态（温度为273.15 K、压力为101.325 kPa）下干基采样体积为0.5 m3时，本标准的方法检出限为0.3 mg/m3，测定下限为1.2 mg/m3。
