1 Scope
This standard specifies the component of wastewater on-line monitoring system, construction requirements for wastewater discharge outlet, flow monitoring unit, monitoring station house, automatic water sampling unit and data control unit, installation requirements for flowmeter, automatic water sampler and water quality automatic analyzer, as well as the technical requirements on commissioning and test run of the wastewater on-line monitoring system.
This standard is applicable to the construction of all components of the wastewater on-line monitoring system as well as the installation, commissioning and test run of wastewater on-line monitoring equipment adopted such as flowmeter, automatic water sampler, thermometer, and water quality automatic analyzers of chemical oxygen demand (CODcr), total organic carbon (TOC), ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N), total phosphorus (TP), total nitrogen (TN) and pH.
The wastewater on-line monitoring system specified in this standard is applicable to the on-line monitoring of chemical oxygen demand (CODcr), ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N), total phosphorus (TP), total nitrogen (TN), pH, temperature and flow monitoring factors.

system consisting of software and hardware facilities with the functions of wastewater flow monitoring, wastewater water sampling, analysis, and analysis data statistics and uploading

wastewater on-line monitoring equipment
instruments and meters in the wastewater on-line monitoring system which are used in the continuous on-line monitoring of pollutant concentration and discharge
3.3
instantaneous sample
water sample sampled once at a time at certain sampling point
3.4
composite sample
mixture of water samples sampled continuously or at different times at the same sampling point
3.5
automatic water sampling unit
unit in the wastewater on-line monitoring system which is used to acquiring such real-time sample and composite sample, standard-exceeding retention sample, retention sample for parallel monitoring, and retention sample for comparison monitoring as used for analysis and testing with wastewater on-line monitoring equipment
3.6
data control unit
unit for realizing the functions of controlling the linkage of the instrument and equipment in the entire wastewater on-line monitoring system, automatically completing the acquisition, reduction, output and upload to the monitoring center platform of the data from the wastewater on-line monitoring equipment and accepting the command of monitoring center platform to control the operation of the wastewater on-line monitoring equipment

1 Scope
