本标准规定了测定水中肼和甲基肼的对二甲氨基苯甲醛分光光度法。本标准分为两部分：
第一部分为对二甲氨基苯甲醛分光光度法测定肼，第二部分为对二甲氨基苯甲醛分光光度法测定甲基肼。
本标准规定了测定水中肼的对二甲氨基苯甲醛分光光度法。
本标准适用于水和工业废水中肼的测定。
按取水样50mL，采用5cm 吸收池计算，本方法检测限以肼计为0.003 mg/L，定量测定范围为（0.012~0.240）mg/L。如采用1cm 吸收池，检出限为0.015 mg/L，定量测定范围为（0.060~1.00）mg/L。水样中肼的浓度大于1.00 mg/L 时，可稀释后测定。
