本标准规定了机械密封用聚全氟乙丙烯(FEP)，四氟乙烯与全氟烷基乙烯基醚的共聚物(PFA)氟塑料系列全包覆橡胶O形圈的尺寸系列及公差、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输及贮存和安装注意事项要求。本标准适用于在以氟、硅橡胶内芯上全包覆FEP/PFA氟塑料，并以特殊工艺复合而成的特殊橡胶O形圈，可应用在普通橡胶O形圈无法适应的某些化学介质环境中，弹性由橡胶内芯提供，而抗化学介质特性由无缝的FEP/PFA套管提供。它既有橡胶O形圈所具有的低压缩永久变形性能，又具有氟塑料特有的耐热、耐寒、耐油、耐磨、耐天候老化、耐化学介质腐蚀等特性，可替代部分传统的橡胶。形圈，广泛应用于-60℃～200℃温度范围内，除卤化物、熔融碱金属、氟碳化合物外各种介质的密封场合。
