本标准规定了石化工业聚合物加工用旋转给料阀的术语、技术要求、材料、试验与检验、订货要求与质量保证、标志、包装和贮存、安装、操作和维护等。
本标准适用于石化工业聚合物加工装置中，聚乙烯或聚丙烯、粗对苯二甲酸（CTA）粉末、精对苯二甲酸（PTA）粉末、聚乙烯醇（PVA）、聚氯乙烯（PVC）、聚酯（PET）切片等类型的聚合物颗粒物料或粉末物料的给料系统、气力输送系统、计量系统、计量输送系统、压力释放（锁气）系统中所使用的旋转阀。
