本标准规定了RAA型（卷簧）及DKE型（拉簧）刷握的型式与尺寸、技术要求、检验规则、标志与包装，同时也规定了配用集电环的主要尺寸及相关要求。
本标准适用于起重冶金电机用刷握及集电环，转子绕组开路电压：对于可逆转电机不大于660V；对于不可逆转电机不大于1 320V。其他类型的绕线转子电机也可参照使用。
