JB/T 4315-2020 Electrical control equipment of lifting appliance
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage for electrical control equipment of lifting appliances (hereinafter referred to as electrical control equipment).
This standard is applicable to electrical control equipment for lifting appliances with their AC rated voltage not exceeding 1,000V (50Hz or 60Hz) and their DC rated voltage not exceeding 1,500V. It may be used as a reference in case of other types of electrical control equipment.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 5226.32-2017 and the following apply.
3.1
a place of shelter
place which can protect the electrical control equipment from direct exposure to climate conditions, but may subject it to additional impacts such as wind-blown debris, dripping water, and air pollution
3.2
open structure
type of structure where installed electrical components and conductors are directly accessible, offering no protection against external solids or liquids
3.3
protective structure
type of structure of a complete set of equipment where all faces (except the mounting surface) are enclosed with a protection level not lower than IP2X.
