本标准规定了暖通空调用离心通风机的术语和定义、型式与基本尺寸参数、要求、试验方法、检验规则及标志、包装和贮存。
本标准适用于暖通空调系统及各类空调机组用离心式通风机。通风机的输送介质为空气或不含腐蚀性及易燃易爆成分的混合气体，介质中应无粘性或纤维性物质，介质含尘量和其他固体杂质含量小于80 mg/m3。
本标准不适用于前向多翼离心通风机。
