本标准主要规定了家用和类似用途电热器具用电源开关的术语和定义、额定值分类、型号与标志、技术要求与试验方法、包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于供家电和类似用途电阻性发热源的电热器具使用的,借助手、脚或其他人体动作驱动的,额定电压不超过AC480V、额定电流不大于63A的开关。与自动控制器组合的开关,也可参照本标准的规定。
