JB 8587-1997 本标准是在对国际标准化组织 ISO 8528-1993《往复式内燃机驱动的交流发电机组》、GB/T 2819-1995《移动电站通用技术条件》和 JB/T 8182-95《交流移动电站台用控制屏通用技术条件》等分析对比基础上制定的。本标准规定了用内燃机驱动工频（50Hz）、中频（400Hz）、双频（50Hz、400Hz）和直流发电机的内燃机电站（含汽车站、挂车电站、移动式发电机组、固定式发电机组，以下简称机组）的安全要求。本标准适用于 0.5~3 150kW 的电站，60Hz电站亦可参照使用。
