JB/T 8793-1998 本标准根据 GB/T 14048.1-93《低压开关设备和控制设备总则》和 GB/T 14048.3-93《低压开关设备和控制设备低压机电式接触器和电动机起动器》的相关技术内容而制定的。本标准规定了工业机械用电磁起动器（以下简称起动器）的基本要求。包括起动器的特性，起动器应遵循的有关条件，结构与绝缘性能，以及难起动器的试验方法，并规定了制造厂提供给用户的主要技术参数秘数据。起动器主要用于控制三相鼠笼型感应电动机的直接起动、停止和正反向动转，并能对电动机的过载及断相起保护作用。
